The dark time.....

So it was time for some planespotting again. It’s been a while since october. This time I was scheduled to visit Arlanda for some Sunday spotting in the sun with my friend.
But it all went straight to hell. My friend couldn’t come due to his cousins birthday, it became a cloudy day with rain in the air.
The aircraft I was out for was Iraqi air A320, Emirates B773, Zagrosjet A321, Thomson B764 and Hamburg Airways A320.
With minus 6 *C all day and no food I accomplished to stay outside for 6 hours.
 Thai 961 to Bangkok.
 Scandinavian to Tampere.
 Iraqi 256 to Iraq.
 Bluescan down to Mexico.
 Emirates 157 from Dubai.

 Emirates 158 back to DXB.
 Air Berlin back to Berlin.
 Zagrosjet to Erbil.
Hamburg Airways flying for Iran Aseman.

New ATR for SAS

Autumn break in Sweden and it was time for Kalmar again. This time I was supposed to go on an interview with the board of the airport. I was flying down on the 27th with SAS. The plane was SE-LXH from Braathens Regional but the airplanes become delayed due to a motor problem. The planes become four hours late but at 2130 we were on our way.

The next day the storm Simone or St. Jude was expected to hit Kalmar and Sweden. It was at late evening and night the storm hit Kalmar so I made it just ok and so did the night flights from Barcelona and Stockholm Arlanda.

The day after that I was going to the airport at 5 am but I overslept so I’ve became 1, 5 hour late to the airport and saw the Boeing 737 by SAS take off in to the sky. After that the next plane was Braathens flight 481Kilo from Bromma that was arriving. The plane was a Saab 2000 with registration SE-MFF. The plane was not schedule for a flight until in the evening so we put it to sleep for a while.

After we did that we waited for the new ATR from Scandinavian Airlines operated by Jettime. The aircraft was OY-JZA and arrived to SAS Sweden on the 27th so it was brand new. It landed with a little delay on runway 16 and taxied to stand 3. It actually smelled new aircraft, that’s how new it was. After we let it go to Arlanda again it was time for me to go home to Öland. The rest of the autumn break I watched birds with my father.

Problem with doors...

Just a week after I was at Kalmar I discover that an airbus A320 was going to land on Västerås airport which is the airport I study at. The airline that would arrive was a Turkish airline called Tailwind. They were expected to land at 1010 local time but they departed with a delay from Kristiansand in Norway. So in the middle of the physics lesson I had to ¨get my book¨ but I really ran out to take some photos of this beauty. After the landing I walked back in. They were expected to depart at 1100 local time and due to the earlier delay they had a new time at 1200, the time that our mathematic test was. I sat down and started counting and suddenly I heard on the scanner that the aircraft was ready to line up so I skipped the rest of the test and ran out to see it line up on the runway. Ready with my camera I can hear on the scanner that the ramp saw that a door was open. The pilot then decided to return to gate to have a look.
With a delay of one hour and 30 minutes the aircraft now lined up on the runway for a second attempt to depart. This time it worked out well and the aircraft departed to Antalya with some angry passengers.

Kalmar three days.

Some weeks ago I started my search for a weekend that I could take a little vacation on to visit my brother at Kalmar. I looked for a cheap flight from Stockholm to Kalmar and I found a flight the third of October to fly with the Boeing 717 which would be my first one with that type. So I booked it quickly. The third of October was soon to come and on that day we finished school at 1700 and my bus from Västerås Central would depart at 1755. I made the bus on time. The plane which would become OH-BLJ was very nice and clean. I landed at Kalmar runway 16 on time and my brother picked me up at the terminal.

The next day i took the bus to our house at Öland and fixed some things before i took the bus to the airport. I met up my brother to get my uniform and so on. The first flight of the day for me to photograph was Braathens flight 486Kilo to Bromma airport which was a Saab 2000 SE-LXK. Almost directly after that an ATR72 from SAS operating Scandinavian 195 from Arlanda with SE-MDH arrived. After that it was a long break until the Bromma flight arrived again and departed just 20 minutes later. Then another break until Ryanair flight 6166 from Girona. It was a little late for departure so SE-MDI operating flight Scandinavian 197/198 from Arlanda to arrive. The two aircrafts departed with a 5 minute gap. Next plane was Braathens last arrival from Bromma. This time the ramp staff cleaned the aircraft and put it to sleep.

Tried to take photos in the dark. Pretty good right?

The next day it was a busy day at ESMQ. Three charters within three hours. If one would be late the next one will also become late because they need the same gate at Kalmar. This day would become awesome I thought as a planespotter but for the ramp staff it would be hard. The first flight for the day was the last Sunexpress charter for the year for Kalmar. Today it was TC-SNG coming down as SXS6BravoQuebec. As last flight it was a full aircraft arriving and an empty plane over to Stavanger. The first officer onboard this plane was really nice. He came down and started talking to me. I took some photos with some Turkish flight attendants and some photos in the cockpit. I want to thank the first officer for a nice time and hope to see you again.

The second plane was Air Europa´s first flight AEA696 operated by EC-LVR, for the season down to Las Palmas. The aircraft arrived from Malaga empty and would depart as full down to LPA. The cabin personal was really happy about being in Sweden (maybe first time). This plane was a little delay and the next flight was little to early so immediately after Air Europa taxied down to the runway the last flight for the evening, Enter Air landed.

The last plane SP-ENA as ENT705 landed on runway 16 on time and was the last flight for Enter air this year. The plane was quickly unloaded and refilled with fuel. After the departure it was time for us to go home after three hours traffic.

The next day or the last day I just packed my stuff together and went over to Kalmar for my flight
